AI Studio problems
Most AI Studio problems come down to one of four things: the field isn’t running AI Gather, the two apps aren’t linked, the profile has a validation error, or the gather mode needs Revolution Pro. If your edit does nothing, Gather stays greyed out, the badge shows an error count, or you see Subscription Required, the fixes below should cover it.
I changed the profile and the macro ignores it
Section titled “I changed the profile and the macro ignores it”Cause: The field the macro is gathering in isn’t set to AI Gather, or the edit was never saved. A field running Kettle, CornerXSnake, or any other fixed pattern doesn’t read your profile at all.
Fix:
- In Revolution Macro, open Gather → Fields and check that the field card shows AI Gather as its pattern. If it doesn’t, follow Set up AI Gather.
- In AI Studio, check the badge next to Save shows
Saved, notUnsavedor an error count. - If Revolution Macro was linked when you saved, it already reloaded the profile. If it wasn’t, stop and start the macro’s gather so it loads the new file.
Standalone — start Revolution to connect automatically
Section titled “Standalone — start Revolution to connect automatically”Cause: AI Studio can’t find Revolution Macro, because it isn’t running on this PC or the link dropped. Gather and Live Apply stay disabled, but Save still writes your file.
Fix:
- Start Revolution Macro on the same PC.
- Wait for the session controls to show
Connected to Revolution. It usually takes a few seconds. - If you only wanted to edit rules, carry on. Nothing here stops Save.
Not connected to Revolution, or Gather won’t start
Section titled “Not connected to Revolution, or Gather won’t start”Cause: You asked for a gather session while the link was down. The Gather
button and the Gather toggle hotkey both need Connected to Revolution.
Fix:
- Start Revolution Macro if it isn’t running, and wait for the connection tip to change.
- If it says
Reconnecting…, wait. Commands are disabled until the link is back. - If Gather shows
Revolution did not respond in time, wait forConnected to Revolutionand click it again.
Validation errors block Live Apply
Section titled “Validation errors block Live Apply”Cause: A rule in the profile has an error, so Live Apply won’t save it.
The badge shows an error count instead of Saved.
Fix:
- Click the Validation issues indicator next to Hive in the file bar.
- Click an error to jump to the field that needs fixing, and fix it.
- When the count clears, click Save, then turn Live Apply back on if you use it.
Rules with errors are ignored while gathering until you fix them.
Import failed
Section titled “Import failed”Cause: The file you picked isn’t a valid movement profile, or it couldn’t be copied into the library.
Fix:
- Open File bar → Profile → Import profile… and pick a
*.movement.jsonfile that came from AI Studio. - Give it a name and choose Import as copy. Only choose Replace existing when you mean to overwrite a profile you already have.
- If it still fails, ask whoever shared it to export it again from AI Studio. Reveal profile library shows you the folder it should have landed in.
Subscription Required
Section titled “Subscription Required”Cause: The profile’s hive is Red or Mixed, and the linked account doesn’t have Revolution Pro. Editing the profile is free. Starting a Red or Mixed gather session isn’t.
Fix:
- Switch Hive in the file bar to Blue or Blue Eco to keep testing for free.
- Or use the Subscribe action in the dialog, then click Gather again once the linked macro has picked up the new account access.
Check Camera Tilt
Section titled “Check Camera Tilt”Cause: Token detection needs the camera tilted to a specific angle, and the macro couldn’t confirm it, so it asks you before the session starts.
Fix:
- In Roblox, from the default camera angle after a reset, press PgUp once for Blue or Blue Eco, twice for Red.
- Click Tilt is set. A toast says
Gathering with camera tilt setand the session continues.
If you click Cancel, the session doesn’t start. The camera zoom may already have changed, which is harmless. Click Gather again when you’re ready.
No recordings in Test Bench
Section titled “No recordings in Test Bench”Cause: Test Bench has no .airec file to load. Recordings come from
gather sessions started in AI Studio.
Fix:
- With the link up, click Gather, wait a minute, then click Stop. AI
Studio shows
Opening recording in Test Bench…and loads it. - If Test Bench still shows
No recordings yetorNo sessions folder found, click Refresh, or click Folder and choose the macro’s sessions folder yourself.
Known limitations
Section titled “Known limitations”- AI Studio only links to Revolution Macro on the same PC.
- Live Apply can’t save while the profile has a validation error, and rules with errors are ignored while gathering.
- The Simulator ranks ordinary tokens and actions. Saved Duped rules score live Duped collection, but you check them on a real gather, and the live macro uses the profile-wide Duped list even with a field override selected.
- A gather start waits up to about a minute for Revolution Macro to reply.
- The Gather toggle hotkey (F6 by default) works in the background but still needs the link. If you see
link: unsupported protocol versionorlink: empty payload for kind, restart both apps on the same PC.
If you’re still stuck
Section titled “If you’re still stuck”Note what you saw: the standalone tip, a Not connected to Revolution toast,
Subscription Required, a validation error count, Import failed,
Check Camera Tilt, or an empty Test Bench list. Say whether
Connected to Revolution ever appeared.
- In Revolution Macro, open Status, set Log Level to 4, and click the clipboard icon (Copy Logs).
- Include the version from Settings → Credits.
