Watch a gather and find one thing to change
Every rule you’ll ever write starts with a moment you watched the macro do something you wouldn’t have done. Before you open a single editor, you need one of those moments. This guide walks you through running a gather from AI Studio, watching it, and replaying the recording until you can say in one sentence what you’d change.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Revolution Macro is installed, running on the same PC, and can already gather on its own. If it can’t yet, start with Set up AI Gather.
- Roblox is open with your character in Bee Swarm.
- Blue and Blue Eco gather sessions are free. Red and Mixed need Revolution Pro on the linked account.
-
In Revolution Macro, open Gather → AI Gather → Settings and make sure Show Overlay is on.
The overlay draws a box over every token the macro can see. Without it you’re guessing what the macro saw. With it, you’re watching the same field it is.
-
Open AI Studio and wait for the session controls in the file bar to say
Connected to Revolution.If they say
Standalone — start Revolution to connect automatically, Revolution Macro isn’t running yet. Start it, and AI Studio connects on its own. -
Click the Camera rotation button at the right end of the session controls and set the compass to the direction your camera is facing in Roblox.
The macro uses this to work out where the field is relative to your character.
-
Pick a field under Gather field, then click Gather.
Rose is the default. Pick the field you macro in most, because you want to see decisions you already have opinions about. The button shows
Starting…, then the macro walks your character to the field and starts gathering with your current profile. If a Check Camera Tilt dialog appears, press PgUp once in Roblox from the default camera angle (twice for Red), then click Tilt is set. -
Watch for two or three minutes without touching anything.
Watch which token it walks to when two are visible. Watch what it does while your Melody buff is high. Watch whether it walks into the corner you’d avoid. The first time you think “I wouldn’t have done that”, note roughly when it happened.
-
Click Stop.
Every gather you start from AI Studio is recorded. AI Studio shows
Opening recording in Test Bench…and opens the recording for you. -
In Test Bench, click Next event in the transport bar until you reach the moment you noted.
Each click jumps to the macro’s next decision. The field map shows where your character and the tokens were at that moment. Before you look at the right-hand panel, guess which token the macro was about to pick.
-
Click Scores on the right.
This is every token and action the macro was ranking at that moment, with the winner on top. Check your guess. Then finish this sentence: “When ___, I’d rather the macro ___.”
What you just did
Section titled “What you just did”You now have a real decision, from your own field, with the ranking that produced it. That sentence is what the rest of these docs are for. Your first movement rule shows you how to turn it into a rule and check it on a scenario, and Which editor fixes what tells you which part of AI Studio the sentence points at.
If you watched for three minutes and never once disagreed with the macro, that’s a fine result too. The default profile is tuned for exactly that, and you can close AI Studio until the day it does something you’d change.
If it doesn’t work
Section titled “If it doesn’t work”- Gather stays disabled. The link isn’t up. See Link a movement profile to Revolution.
- A Subscription Required dialog appears. The profile’s hive is Red or Mixed, which needs Revolution Pro on the linked account. Switch Hive in the file bar to Blue for this exercise.
- Test Bench says
No recordings yet. Click Refresh, or start and stop the session once more. See AI Studio problems.
